AD Audio Recorder is an application intended for sound recording. The program is easy to use thanks to the user-friendly interface. The application can record any sounds coming from a sound card. Besides, this tool can record sounds with the help of a microphone, if you have one. To start the recording you should launch the program and select a source device. You can choose between two output formats, mp3 and wav. You should also choose output directory or use default one. For each format you can adjust settings such as bit rate and others. This program can record sounds in both normal and sound activated modes. Graphical real-time visualization of the sound will help you to adjust best parameters of recording. You can start recording by clicking on ’record’ button.
The program has a built-in media player with a playlist. You can add directories to the playlist but not files. Be careful with the playlist, because when you click on ‘delete’ button, the program will delete a file not only from the playlist but from the computer as well. The built-in media player has a playback position and playback volume controllers. Since the application is capable of recording any sound coming from the sound card, it can record sounds played by the program itself.
